Actor-turned-director Sajid Yahiya announced his upcoming directorial venture ‘Arikomban’, inspired by the recent incident of a rogue tusker named Arikomban, who has been rampaging the villages in Kerala’s Idukki district. The upcoming film will go on floors in October this year.
In the film, Arikomban’s life will be depicted in Sri Lanka‘s famous Sigiriya rock fortress and Idukki’s Chinnakanal, where he was forced to relocate from his abode due to legal provisions. The tagline of the film says, “The most powerful force on Earth is justice.”
